WINTER MARKET

We are returning to the brilliant BOILER SHOP for our winter market! It will be full to the brim of 65 makers, artists, and businesses highlighting the brilliant talent in the area.

Where: 20 South St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 3PE
When: 11th of Dec.
Trading times: 10 am - 4 pm.
Tickets are £2pp & under 16s get in free.
10% of the ticket fee will be donated to the chosen charity.

Winter Market At the Boiler Shop: Text

I am so happy to announce that Made.UpNorth will be hosting The Winter Market at the Boiler Shop Newcastle on Sunday the 11th of Dec, open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm.

The type of vendors I'm looking for …

  • Handcrafted items such as ceramics, clothing, textiles, jewelry, woodwork, candle makers, soap and body care, etc 

  • Artists- painter, printers, photographers 

  • Small businesses looking for a new point of sale  

  • Vintage clothing and or furniture

  • Food vendors 


You are more than welcome to apply as a pair or group if you are wanting to share a space, however, you must include the info for all people selling on the day of the market and indicate who will be the lead contact on your application.

Vendors selling these types of items will not be allowed at the market...

  • Weaponry 

  • Items that promote violence or hate 

  • Explosives or fireworks 

If you are unsure if you meet the above criteria please drop me an email! 


There will be up to 60 stalls available on the day ...

Stall prices:

2x2m Stand - £50 

3x2m Stand - £75

4x2m Stand - £95

You can fill your stand with whatever you like, tables, props, rails, etc but everything must fit within your space. 


If you need to rent a table for the market, table rental prices are...

Per table (2m x 50cm) = £10

Per bench (2m) = £5 

Up to three of these tables can fit in a 2mx2m space.

Stalls will be allocated to vendors based upon a few criteria...

  • I will allocate stalls to vendors in order to create a diverse range of makers, creators, artists, and businesses that complement each other

  • The quality of products a vendor has on offer 

  • And of course, you must be a northern business! 


Stall's will not be allocated on a first come first serve, as I want everyone who wants, to have a chance to apply.

Applications will be open from the 30th of Aug for 


If you miss the application deadline and still want to apply you will be added to a waitlist.

​A response will be sent out to everyone whether you are successful in your application or not a few days after the application deadline.
